With the VeloSpace's versatile design there's almost no such thing as a difficult bike to load. A great bike carrier for electric bikes with its generous weight capacity.
The VeloSpace is the perfect answer for those with electric bikes, long wheelbase bikes, fat bikes or just plain old heavy bikes. The VeloSpace takes up to 30kg in individual bike weight (60kg total weight limit) and accommodates bikes with wheelbases up to 1300mm long. It secures your bikes to the carrier via frame clamps with AcuTight torque limiting tightening knobs and can also be adapted to be suitable for carbon frame bikes with the use of the Thule Carbon Frame Protector.
Out of the box it can handle tire widths up to 3-inches and with the use of the Thule XXL Fatbike Wheel Straps it can cater for tyre widths up to 4.7-inches. Both standard and long straps utilize a ratchet mechanism for easier use.
It boasts a large spacing between the bikes of 25cm to avoid bike to bike interference. To make life even easier there is also the optional Velospace loading ramp available so you don't even have to lift your bike onto the carrier.
If your family grows or you just make some new friends you can also extend the capacity of this bike rack to three bikes with the Thule Velospace Add-On.
You can also use the Velospace to add 300L of easy to access general cargo capacity to your vehicle for your next roadtrip with the Thule Backspace XT rear cargo box, which attaches to the Velospace.
Adjustable and removable mounting arms make loading as simple as possible for difficult frame designs, and the whole unit tilts with bikes still loaded to allow access to the boot.
