Thule´s most compact and lightweight platform bike carrier with a two bike capacity. The VeloCompact is one of Thule's best selling carriers thanks to its easy bike loading and great vehicle rear access, even with bikes loaded via the smart foot pedal tilt system.
The Velocompact got its name from its ability to fold up to such a small package that it can fit into the boot of most vehicles. This makes it amazingly easy to handle and it takes up very little storage space.
Also featured are extendable wheel holders and quick release pump buckles. The pump buckles adds a nice extra convenience when tightening the wheel straps. You can also avoid needing to lift your bike by using the optional Thule Loading Ramp 9152. The VeloCompact can accommodate a decent range of bikes with its 46kg total load limit and 25kg per bike load limit, but it isn't suited for all e-bikes and longer wheelbase bikes.
Your bikes are secured to the carrier via a frame grab arm as well as wheel straps. It can also be adapted to suit carbon frame bikes with the use of the Thule Carbon Frame Protector and the Thule Acutight Knob, both sold separately.
Max wheelbase is up to 130cm and can accommodate tire widths up to 3 inches.
For safety on the road, it has full width adjustable integrated lights and number plate holder. It comes almost fully assembled and locks not only the bikes to the carrier but the carrier to tow ball (locks included).
You can key alike your Thule products by purchasing lock cores separately.
