The LongHaul is Yakima's specially designed 4 bike carrier for caravans, campers, RV's and Vans, providing the durability and features that make it perfect for those applications.
Design wise it has a utilitarian but well made look born of function, which suits most RV's perfectly. It features Yakima's SuperCush cradles which provide some protection for your bike's frame, plus the ZipStrip straps do a good job of keeping everything in place while underway.
Being a post type of bike rack it carries your bikes by their frame, making it less than ideal for carbon framed bikes and sensitive finishes. You may also need a Yakima Tubetop to carry some bike frame types with this carrier.
It also folds down, so it's out of the way when not in use and is easier to store.
Installing and removing this bike rack is an easy and quick job and it fits 50mm (2in) receivers, but should you wish to leave it on your RV it incudes single key locks to secure both the carrier to your vehicle hitch and a cable lock to secure the bikes to the carrier. Please refer to the instructions for more details on fitting and use. You can key alike all your Yakima products by purchasing lock cores separately. Shipping Timeframes
