So you've already got yourself a great hitch mounted bike rack but you're getting tired of unloading bikes every time you need to access the rear of your vehicle?
Luckily the good folks from Yakima have released this gem known as the BackSwing. Simply mount your existing Yakima 50mm hitch bike rack to the BackSwing and BOOM, you've got yourself a swing-away bike carrier which allows for all the rear access to your vehicle you could ever need. It swings out 90 degrees, locks in place, and features an easy-to-use release lever system.
The BackSwing can handle up to 113kg weight capacity including bikes and carrier which is ample for most users, and it includes locks which are compatible with the Yakima single key system which allows you to key alike your Yakima products by purchasing lock cores separately.
Secures to most 50mm (2in) hitch receivers using the threaded pin included. Compatible with a range of hitch mounted bike racks including the Yakima HoldUp, HoldUp EVO, OnRamp, SingleSpeed, Dr.Tray (without EZ+1), FourTimer, TwoTimer and LongHaul.
Note that the BackSwing won't fit Yakima bike carriers that can adapt to both 1.25in and 2in hitches (such as the Fulltilt), the exception to this rule is the SingleSpeed.
Installation is a 10 minute job with some assembly required, please refer to the instructions below for further details.

Shipping Timeframes

Orders placed before 3pm on business days will usually leave our warehouse the same day.
Please allow one extra day for large or bulky items to be collected by the freight carrier.

These items are shipped from a third-party warehouse and may take 1–2 business days before dispatch.
Orders Paid by Bank Deposit
Orders will be processed once funds clear, which can take up to 2 working days depending on your bank.
