This super light-weight, foldable and yet durable roof box is a great option for those who dread the prospect of storing and handling their roof box when not in use but still want a full length box for skis, snowboards or other luggage.
The Ranger offers flexibility also, with the ability to expand or contract vertically using zips to adjust to your luggage needs. With 185cm length internally it can accommodate most skis or snowboards, its capacity of 3-4 pairs of skis or 2-3 snowboards means it has ample space for most users.
Although the box is a soft type, it sacrifices nothing in terms of its water resistance or strength. This is done through the use of water resistant materials, welded seams, and sealed zippers. The included ski carriers double as cross-braces which provide rigidity. However, in extreme weather conditions Thule recommends items that are sensitive to water should be packed inside plastic bags for further protection.
Fitting the box is made simple with Thule's EasySnap system which will fit most roof rack crossbar styles and brands. Please refer to the fitting instructions for more details.
